House

Because I know my readers are interested in what is going on, and I have had enough wine to report that there will be another 30 day waiting period before we know whether or not they accept our OFFER! Apparently, our offer is close enough to what they are asking, that they are willing to move forward with the short sale, now they have 30 more days to counter with what we are offering! SERIOUSLY, if you didn't know me, would you really think this is what short sales are all about! THEN, once we settle on a price, the bank then goes to a 30 day closing period. I cannot even take it anymore! I seriously want to FLIP OUT! Our house we are renting goes to foreclosure on May 14th, so we have about a 15 day overlap here. I am at the end of my rope, can I really wait another 30 days for an answer!????

That sucks :( I hope you find out sooner than their 30 day time frame. All this waiting and then they tell you to wait some more! Jerks.

I hope all this waiting is worth it and the house becomes your home! I'll say a prayer that they make a decision soon and that you don't go crazy waiting!!

So I printed off 3 50% off coupons for Old Navy and went there last night - I was so excited about this I just had to tell you - I bought three items and they let me use all three coupons. I bought two shirts for Adia and a pair of PJ bottoms for her. I ended up paying $10 for all three AND THEN I noticed the receipt in my wallet from my last Old Navy trip and asked them if it was true that they would give me money back if any of my items that I had bought were currently on sale. So she scans my reciepts and ends up giving me $2 back! So I ended up paying $8 for Adia's stuff. Nice.

PS Tell Pat to toughen up and not be such a hypochondriac! Ha ha, just kidding - I probably would have thought I was having an aneurism too, except that that has happened to Adia so I knew when you posted that his eardrum had ruptured. Hopefully Tyler is feeling better too!
