Blame it on the. . .

a-a-a-a-a-al-co-hol!

For those of you who know my distaste for children's music, you know that my children are exposed to music that is probably totally inappropriate, but I think it is funny. For example, they can sing the entire Dead and Gone song with Justin Timberlake, even the title is not appropriate, but hey, what's a mama to do!

So, this morning, driving Jackson to school, the "Blame It (On the Alcohol)" song by Jaime Foxx comes on the radio. After listening to it, my sweet and innocent little boy says, "Alcohol starts with 'A' Mommy!" OH, please go use that as an example at your swanky new school!

Maybe when I am 30, I will start banning the radio, but for now, I think it is funny, and I am happy to know that my kids are in touch with reality! HA!

BTW Madeleine brought Jackson up yesterday. She said "remember Jackson? he lives in Venus" huh? where? "you know Mommy, the desert, he lives in the desert, in Venus".

I only turn on Brandt's kid music when I absolutely have to, like a drive to Phoenix when he starts to get antsy, otherwise it's the radio or my ipod. Sometimes I do worry about the lyrics, though ...
