Ten on Tuesday-Product Reviews

1. Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets-AMAZING, easy to store, smells yummy, detergent, softener and anti-static all in one!

2. EA Active for the Wii! Holy crap Batman, it is a workout, SERIOUSLY! I never thought I would be desperate for the running part of the workout because I want to stop lunging and squatting!

3. Fresh and Easy Caesar Salad-while I do not like their bakery products, this Caesar salad FAR surpasses the bagged Caesar salad you get in other grocery stores. The Parmesan cheese is shredded, not grated, and the dressing is delightful!

4. Coppertone Kids Continuous Spray SPF 70+. . .the product itself is kind of wet, and it is difficult to get the kids to stand still long enough for it to dry, but the application is soooooooooo stinking easy, it is ALMOST worth it!

5. I was thinking about how much I love my tomato slicer today, and how I wish it were just a little sharper when SLICE, my finger begins to gush blood. Doesn't mean I love it any less because it gives me PERFECTLY even slices, but DANG, I wish sliced fingers weren't so PAINFUL!

6. Patricia Wexler M.D. face products at Bath and Body Works. I tried to buy a less expensive face wash at Target, BLAH! As soon as my schedule allows I will be high tailing it to the store to get some of my favorite face wash. I also have the eye cream and concealer, and just as soon as my budget allows, I think I am going to purchase the entire line. It is truly magic in a bottle.

7. Soft Scrub is an amazing product WHEN COMBINED with 409. I put some soft scrub on my kitchen table, spray some 409 over it, let it sit for awhile, and I kid you not, it take off 99.9% of things I need taken off. My table is about 9 years old, I have two kids, it removes marker, sticky dried up fruit snacks, yogurt, etc. I love it. Pat and I were just talking the other day about how OLD everything is that we own. We are totally stuck in one of those ruts, you have it, so you don't buy a new one because you have one that "works", but I just don't like a lot of it right now!

8. Puff Pastry-I puffy heart puff pastry, not even kidding! I told Pat last night that I could eat POOP on puff pastry and still love it. It is just so fluffy and light! It is my absolute FAVORITE food right now!

9. PSP-can be dropped by a two year old and still survive the crash, I TOTALLY appreciate that! I thought FOR SURE when Tyler dropped the PSP on our tile floor it was DEAD, but nope, TOTALLY still works!

10. Rye bread from Karsh's Bakery is AMAZING! I haven't had it in awhile, but I had some this weekend, there is nothing like it. It is located at 7th St and Missouri! YUM!

How about now if EVERYONE who reads this leaves what their current FAVORITE product is!??? That's right you stalkers, the ones who read and don't leave comments, the ones who read the blog and talk about it with friends, the ones who just can't get enough. If you like it, I am sure I will love it. I need some fun ideas for the summer! I want to know what you cannot live without!

Have you have missed how I don't order things online because I don't like people ringing my doorbell? I am going to see if that place in Mesa is close to my mom or sister so that they can go get me some, otherwise I am going to have to find the place in Scottsdale, but I also avoid Scottsdale like the plague! Damn you and your awesome product review, now I am going to have to face my fears for some lotion! :-p

Well, my only recent discovery is the Target brand diapers. Which helps you NONE now that you have 2 out of diapers! Harper has been peeing through at night and these new diapers keep him dry all night! Still love my Huggies during the day but night time we always use Target brand now!

Ooooh, but see Katie and Karissa may like to know that! This is turning out to be a GREAT thing!

Phoenix is Posh, unlike the middle of the United States, otherwise known as St. Louis. I'm SURE you will be able to find it somewhere there ;)

Target Diapers!! I'm totally going to try!! Are they Target Brand Overnights, or just regular?

XOXO

Thanks for doing this, Colleen. It opened my eyes to new products that I really want to try. My current favorite lotion is Keri lotion but it is hard to find. I also live for dark Hershey's chocolate....Dove chocolate is a close second but too darn expensive! Spray n Wash is a must-have for getting out stains. I'm desperate for a good mascara...any suggestions?

Ooooh, yes, I am in LOVE with the Maybelline Intense XXL Volume and Length Microfiber Mascara! I get it at Target, Fry's, etc. Sometimes it is on sale for like $4, and it works like a CHARM!!!!

Since I have a girl who loves bright pink - I LOVE Shout Color Catcher Sheets (http://www.shoutitout.com/preserve-colors.aspx)

Drop one in with any load of laundry with new bright colored clothes. It works wonders on clothes that bleed. No more worrying.

I thought of another one. The website www.tulle4us.com! They have awesome sales every once in a while - I just got 2 dressed and 2 shirts for $30! And they are awesome quality! Sign up for the newsletter and they will email you a notice of upcoming sales!!!

Karissa - They are just the regular diapers. Hope they work for GIRLS as well as they are working for my BOY! You'll have to let me know - in case we ever try for that girl!

Thank you Shannon!!! I have never heard of those, but Leila's laundry always starts out SO bright, and never ends up that way!!

Jaclyn, I will let you know how the diapers work :)

You guys have no idea how excited this makes me!! This is all stuff I can buy because it doesn't fall into my "no shopping" rules!! Whoo Hoo!!

Karsh's Bakery-LOVE THEM since I was a kid! They have the best strawberry cake thing-fresh sliced strwberries, some creame & a sponge cake-Oh so good. My mom's fave b-day cake.

Colleen said...

Ooooh, haven't had the cake thingy, gonna have to try that! I love the cherry turnovers, YUM!

I might try the Purex, but I tend to buy my detergent in bulk at Costco because I'm cheap. But the concept is pretty cool.

Also, what do you use for tile cleaner? I just use the swiffer wetjet every now and then, but I'm thinking of investing in one of those steam cleaners like the Shark, or something like it.

Colleen said...

I use a broom and the Wet Jet or my hands and knee, really old school, but in my opinion it works the best!!
