Ten on Tuesday

1. The kids had soooooooooooo much fun flying kites this weekend. At one point the kite was stuck in the tree, Pat was very high up in the tree, Jackson was sprinting back to the house to get me, and I was running around the back area in my Santa hat pajamas, but all was resolved and the kids are still talking about all the fun they had flying kites! I am still hoping no one was looking out there back window and caught a glimpse of me! I may or may not have been wearing a bra, and trust me when I say I NEED ONE!

2. Speaking of bras, I am in DESPERATE need of new ones, but I HATE setting foot in Victoria's Secret. I don't want any of your super cute bras, just some comfortable ones that will serve a purpose, and the young teenagers working there just don't seem to understand why!???

3. AND, in other bra news, this guy at the new casino/hotel was hitting on me Sunday morning. I was VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable. He actually said, "Soooooo, what do you do for fun?!" Do these lines work on unattached people because I REALLY wanted to respond, "YOU! Let's go up to your room right now!" Just to see what he would say! What do I do for fun? I play blackjack at the five dollar table on a Sunday morning, and NOW YOU ARE RUINING THAT FOR ME!

4. My disposal STINKS, and I have done everything in hopes that it will smell better! Any new ideas out there for me?????

5. TWO T-BALL GAMES LEFT-can you tell I am excited or something?!

6. I won Mother's Day Brunch at The Farm at South Mountain-I am thrilled! A place I have always wanted to go, and I don't have to pay! HOLLA!

7. The month of May brings soooooooooooo many things to do! I cannot keep all the things straight, although I am REALLY trying!

8. I was MAD MAD MAD this morning, but I was able to move past it and get a lot accomplished. Thank you Claire for helping me through it! My response is my responsibility, and I am REALLY good at not responding when it is NOT my family. I feel like my family should love me no matter what my response, BUT, that hasn't been working out so well for me because I don't think anyone really understands me, soooooooooooooooooooooooooo they are joining the people that don't get a response!

9. I think I am going to start a journal or something so that I can express what I want, kind of like a blog, but no one has to see it, and then no one will get their panties in a bunch!

10. Today is Teacher Appreciation Day, go hug a teacher! If you are a mom, you are a teacher, so give yourself a pat on the back!

PS-I used sooooooooooooooooooooooo a lot today! In my opinion, I used it a lot of different ways :-)!

Disposal - Have you tried lemons?

Bras - I need new ones too! I'd say lets go shopping together but that seems a bit weird! :)

Sending you two hugs! Since you are a mom and a retired teacher!

Journal - Please don't stop writing on here! I love reading your blog!!

Disposal - Might sound weird but if you have the time - make vinegar ice cubes and drop them in disposal and run it with cold water OR put a little Borax in it and let it sit for 15 min and then flush it with warm water. (I have borax if you want some.) :)

I HATE bra shopping. I stopped going to Victoria's Secret because I couldn't find anything just normal that I liked. Good luck!

I love that your TonT focused on bras!!! J just said something to me about my torn apart favorite bra. I said to him "you want me to have new bras? go buy them! Here is my size." I despise bra shopping!! How hard is it to make all bra sizes the same across the board?! The definitely ARE NOT!

Congrats on the brunch! I can't wait to hear all about it!

The journal reminded me of our quote book. Maybe I should start scanning some pages and posting them for my TonT!

Love you!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ipex from Victoria's Secret it is the only reason I keep going back!

HOW DO YOU GUYS KNOW THESE DISPOSAL SECRETS-other than lemons, I know nothing!

I would NEVER stop blogging, just thinking some things should be saved and not shared-KARISSA, I think the quote book falls into this category :-)!

PS-Why do we all need new bras-we need to spend more time paying attention to ourselves!

Lol Colleen! YES, we did do Sam Moon. We did the Frisco location, and it had home decor and luggage, in addition to the HUGE jewelry part. CRAZY! Way fun. Kris' sister lives in Dallas, so that's cool.

I SERIOUSLY need new bras. I gained 5 cups sizes during pregancy and then breastfed and then lost 6 cup sizes and nothing fits!!! (no one is reading this right?!??)

I second the lemons and even better would be lemon juice ice cubes for the disposal.

I second Carrie, I chop up lemons, throw them in the freezer, and then grind them up in the disposal.
