FAVORITE Phoenix Area RESTAURANTS

After my blog the other day, I am surprised if anyone is still reading my blog-HELLO SCROOGE MUCH!!!!!!! Seriously, it is just the stress of the holiday season. I am dying to have that fresh cut tree smell in my house, snuggling up on the couch to watch some Christmas movies and a fire in the fireplace. I really do like this season!

I thought I would give everyone some restaurants I happen to love because I get texts and emails ALL THE TIME about where my favorite places are. I will also include a list of places I am dying to try in case you are in need of a Christmas gift for me, you can go get a gift card or two!

1. POSTINO-without a doubt my most favorite place in Phoenix to eat.

2. Cibo is a CLOSE second!

3. District Kitchen at the Sheraton in Downtown Phoenix

4. Lolo's Chicken and Waffles-just over all fun-good entertainment, people watching, etc.

5. Dilly's Deli

6. Gallo Blanco

7. Bomberos-I could seriously eat at a wine bar EVERY NIGHT!

8. Matt's Big Breakfast

9. Uncle Sam's

10. Valle Luna and Macayo's come in as a tie because I used to LOVE Valle Luna when they gave you bean dip as an appetizer, then they took that away, and now I chose Macayo's occasionally because I LOVE THEIR chimichangas.

Places I would like to try.

1. Beckett's Table-we saw Justin Beckett, the first year we went to Phoenix Cooks, participate in an Iron Chef like competition, and I have followed him on twitter through the whole opening and what not.

2. AZ88

3. The Mission

4. Culinary Dropout

5. Joe's Farm Grill

6. BLT Steak

7. FnB

8. Stingray Sushi

9. Geisha a Go Go

10. Nobuo at Teeter House

I would LOVE it if you would leave me your favorite restaurant or, if you have been to any of the ones that I want to go to, tell me about it!!!!

Shockingly I have been to Beckett's Table (Yum), AZ88 (long time ago but good) and the Mission (super fun atmosphere, very busy, good margs, lots of funky pork, mini tacos) are you proud of me? I sound like I actually have a life:)My brother has been to FnB and says it is awesome and he is definately more of a foodie than me:)

I don't know if this counts, but when I olived in AZ, my pallet wasn't very mature...could have been the alcohol consumption :). However, I still crave dos gringos nachos on a monthly basis! The best ever!

You have some great picks! I have to ask though which Postino location do you prefer? There are so many good Phoenix restaurants, you have to try Nobuo I hear it is unbelievable! Others from your want to try list I can recommend are Beckett's Table- superb get the creme brulee, AZ88- fab, Culinary Dropout- get the soft pretzel app and the Home-ec martini and I've also heard The Mission is amazing- I'm told to get the pumpkin bread pudding. Hope you get some gift cards to these spots!
