A list of things that apparently I am the only person qualified to do in the house.
1. Flush toilets. It never fails that there is SOMETHING in the toilet every time I go to the bathroom.
2. Change light bulbs. They will be burnt out for months, when I finally do it, Patrick says, "Oh, I was just getting ready to do that!" Sure you were NOT!
3. Put socks in the hamper/laundry. My kids are pretty good about putting their dirty clothes where they belong, but it never fails I find socks strewn about the house.
4. Taking the used washcloths out of the shower/bath. They collect into a gigantic mountain until I wash them and put them away.
5. Grocery shopping. I seriously don't even let Patrick attempt this because I get about fifteen phone calls while he is there, so it is not even worth it. I have to be on my death bed to ask him to go.
6. Throwing away empty bottles of shampoo, body wash, conditioner, face wash, etc. AGAIN, another pile.
7. Doing Tyler's hair. I am sure one day she will want to do her own hair, and I will miss this, so I try to enjoy it, but it would be nice if Pat could do a ponytail every now and then.
8. Remember EVERYTHING!
That's all I can think of right now, although I am sure there are many more. I will fully admit there are things that I absolutely REFUSE to do. Taking out the trash is one of them. REFUSE! I hate trash cans, and I pile it up next to the trash can until a certain someone takes it out. Wouldn't it be fun if Patrick had a blog, how many of you want to hear "his side" of the story! Boo! Mine is the right one anyway!

Haha, my list is very similar. VERY. We have an empty bottle of soap in the shower that has been there for 2 months, I am waiting to see how long until he throws it out. I assume it will be there until next November!
this is hiLARious! i just read it aloud to Joe and he was laughing, too. just goes to show, colleen...things would definitely fall apart without you. :-)
